Congratulations to Dr. Suresh Kumar Amalapuram, Mr. Heetkumar Dilipbhai Patel, and Mr. Bikraj Shrestha on winning the first prize, along with a cash award of Rs. 1,00,000, in the Malware Analysis Hackathon conducted by IIT Madras.

Congratulations to Mr. Arjit Gupta, Mr. Shreesh Gupta, Mr. Anish Pawar, and Ms. Somya Jain for securing third place, along with a cash prize of $500, at the ITU WTSA-24 Hackathon: AI Bharat 5G/6G Sandbox.

The paper "TEFAR: An Efficient Transparent Finer-grained Encryption of Internet Access Artifacts" was given the Best Paper Award at 16th International Conference on COMmunication Systems & NETworkS (COMSNETS India Internet Governance Workshop 2024) held in Bengaluru during January 3-7, 2024.

Our M.tech Research Assistant students Bhavishya Sharma and Keval Malde has won a challenge at Fall 2021 OAI Workshop MOSAIC5G Programming Challenge: Creating a Service Model- RRC Service Model design and implementation using ASN.1, Flatbuffers and plain encoding/decoding serializations.

The paper “NUMASFP: NUMA-aware Dynamic Service Function Chain Placement in Multi-core Servers” co-authored by Venkatarami Reddy Ch, Sai Balaram Korrapati, Bheemarjuna Reddy Tamma, Antony Franklin was given the Best Paper Award at 14th International Conference on COMmunication Systems & NETworkS (COMSNETS 2022) held in Bangalore during January 3-8 in a hybrid mode. The award carries a cash prize of Rs 10,000, a memento and a citation. Venkatarami Reddy Chintapalli (PhD student) and Sai Balaram (ES BTech student) who went to present the paper at the conference received the award.

The paper “LTE Wi-Fi Radio Level Integration at RLC Layer: A Demo of LWIR” co-authored by Thomas Valerrian Pasca S, Himank Gupta, Sumanta Patro, Bheemarjuna Reddy Tamma, and Antony Franklin A was given the Best Academic Demo Award at COMSNETS 2018.

The paper “A Real-Time Performance Evaluation of Tightly Coupled LTE Wi-Fi Radio Access Networks ” co-authored by Thomas Valerrian Pasca S, Sumanta Patro, Bheemarjuna Reddy Tamma, and Antony Franklin A was given the Best Paper Award (2nd Prize) at ANTS 2017.

The paper “Radio Co-location Aware Channel Assignments for Interference Mitigation in Wireless Mesh Networks” co-authored by Srikant Manas Kala, M Pavan Kumar Reddy, Ranadheer Musham and Bheemarjuna Reddy Tamma was given the Best Paper award in Proc. of IEEE ICACCI 2015, August 2015, Kochi, India.
